Playing House

Now this is something I never understood.  I already know there are going to be some folks who don’t agree with what I’m about to say, but that’s cool with me.  There is an old saying that says “Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free”.  Men believe they must sample the goods to determine if they have found a keeper and women actual fall for that dumb crap.  Women wake up!  Is this man really worth your health?  Think of how many other women fell for this same foolishness.  In the days of our grandparents they actual did things right. Most of them remain together to this day. They believed in the saying until death do we part. Well this newer generation doesn’t believe that and maybe that’s why so many marriages only last 6 months to a year. Yup I said it! You couldn’t even make it 365 days. Wow!  As of right now I know several people who have been living with there mates for over 7 to 10 years and still do not have a ring on their finger.  These women are waiting for something that may never come.  You forgot to set ground rules and even better you forgot to give an ultimatum and actually stick to it.  Instead you would rather settle for a man that takes your body, but doesn’t give you his last name.  Here is the kicker.  You gave up your goals, had his babies, washed his dirty drawls and when he dies you get NOTHING!  Most guys don’t even have a will and if they do your name is probably not in it.  I never understood playing house. It’s a game I refuse to play.  For those of you who still don’t get it. I’ll break it down to you like the baker that I am.  Don’t preheat the oven if you’re not buying the product that comes out of the fire.  The same rules apply to guys who still haven’t decided which female they want to be with. Stop jumping from house to house saying you’re trying to decide. You should already know who you want. Really Dude! Naw! You got the game twisted. Sorry! If you can’t commit neither can I.
