· Dressing young (just because they make it doesn’t mean you wear it)
·
Hanging the phone up on people. (teenagers do
this not folks past 30)
·
Showing your body on public websites.
(Advertising for dates – believe me there is a better way)
·
Dating teenagers. (If they can’t buy you a drink
then enough said)
·
Memory Lane (If your still talking about what
you were in high school – News flash -no one cares)
·
Clubbing (Your over 30 looking for a club like
the HammerJacks when you should be at “The Classics”.
·
Shoes
(Your still wearing “Timbs” with every outfit. – by now you should own a pair
dress shoes)
·
Sweats (Your everyday wardrobe and you haven’t
seen a pair of slacks since the 90’s.)
·
Slang (You moved from the hood, living in the
suburb and your still talking to your neighbors like they should understand
what you’re saying.)
Oh believe me this list could go on and on, but I felt that
you just need a few things to get the idea. When you get past a certain age and especially
those who have kids you should know that people should be able to tell a
difference between the child and the parent. I think at times people get
comfortable in doing these thing and feel this is a way that makes them feel cool. Cool is growing up and showing that you have
achieved your goals or that you’re responsible.
Give the younger generations something to look up too not something that’s
a quick fad that no one will remember in 10 years.
