Click / Clique Denial

We become accustomed to hanging with the same people never truly realizing those whom are a part of the group have secretly formed a click/clique. We deny that we have formed this union but in all honesty the very things we state we aren't we have become.  Last year I tried to prove this point to a person who I knew lived in denial of this  understanding. I was told they felt more comfortable hanging with individuals they are more comfortable with. Here is a question I have -  if you work with a multicultural group of different age groups why do you feel the need to only surround yourself with  handful of people?  I love the phrase a closed hand doesn't get fed. Well a person who places themselves to work with a wide majority of individuals should never single themselves around a specific group. When you close your mind to others who aren't like you then you have secretly placed handcuffs on your hands and limited your own movement and growth.  Think outside the circle and learn that in order to reach a nation you must learn different languages.
