Take Ownership
I’ve
been trying my best not to write an anger entry but this mess right here has me
hotter than a fire cracker on the Fourth of July. Is it me or do people really listen to the
dribble that comes out of their own mouth. Lord have mercy. Somebody please tell me how do you blame
someone else for the things you do or cause. I’m serious someone please answer
this because I’m at a loss for words.
Each person has to take ownership for the things they do. As an adult once you have been taught right
from wrong what you don’t say is the reason you turned out this way is due to
someone else. Ok! Really! When you
become an adult and especially if you have kids you know right from wrong. I don’t care if your daddy was a boot-legger
on the Bayou. God issues a level or common sense to everyone. Stop blaming other people for the things you
do or have done. Just because something happen to you as a kid doesn’t mean you
go through life blaming that person for everything. Learn to take ownership for
your nonsense. Where in the world do
people make up this who-ha? I am the
first to say I am not perfect. None of us are by far. Please believe me if I did something I’m
always the first to say I did it. You
can ask my parents that one but I’m not going to go through life blaming others
for my misguided decisions. Sometimes
you have to pull up your big girl or boy britches and say yes I did it. No one
did it but me and I accept whatever the consequences. We teach our children when they do wrong to
tell the truth and if you do your punishment won’t be so bad so why is it when
we become adults that goes slam out of the window. Child! I am through in more ways than one.
