I woke up this morning with an amazing sense of gratitude. Growing up I wanted certain people to be closer to me because of what they stood for in my life, but through the years that was never accomplished. It is amazing how God protects you when you’re not even paying attention. Now that I can sit back and look at this person’s life I see God’s hand over mine. God protects us from things and people for specific reasons. Let me just tell you this year has been filled with so many ups, downs, twist and turns -- it’s been ridiculous, but through it all I’m still standing. I didn’t want to allow this day to go by without telling God thank you for always watching over me. Lord you have been protecting me from danger all of my life and I thank you for streamlining the things in my life to keep me from following the same paths as others.
