Dear Miami

        I want to take this moment to tell you thank you.  You changed my life. I’ve always dreamed of visiting your coastal waters, sipping on some fruity drinks and enjoying a great time with friends.  Even though my journey to you was met with opposition I want to tell you thank you for an amazing time.  I had the time of my life. Late night trips to the city and enjoying dinner at Catfish Dewey’s. Oh the memories I will have.  Long drives down route A1 to see the celebrity’s homes. Lying in the sun with a friend and laughing at the sights and who could forget the time I spent in the swamp.  There is something about spending time with nature. I also want to thank you for allowing me to find the killer deal on shoes at my favorite shoe store.   We shopped at malls that celebrities shop at and rode in class.   Miami when I think of you always know that even though I will have some bad memories in regards to the plans in getting to you I will have many pictures and stories to hold near and dear.  Before I let you go I want to tell you this I will not let my first trip be my last.  You have shown me that I’m stronger than I could ever imagine. I thank you for allowing me to find my identity and discovering what it is that I really want in my life.   I won’t say good bye I’ll say see you soon.
