You Can’t Take It Back

So many times we speak things out of anger. We don’t think about what’s being said or how it affects those around us.   All we know is that we want to get it off our chest. Yesterday as I stood at a candle light vigal for a friend that died it hit me that the words spoken by the last person my friend talk to can never be taken back.  These words will haunt this person until God gives them resolution. My mom has always been one who said never go to bed angry and if you are always make sure you get the situation right before you close your eyes because you never know if you will see tomorrow. My friend died the other day and it hurts that their not here, but to the person who took it upon themselves to say what they felt was needed to say I feel so sorry for you.  Those words spoken in anger can never be taken back. You will never hear my friend tell you that they accept your apology. Remember the words we say may make you feel good at that moment, but if you never get them right they will haunt you forever.
