Unapproachable

It can be so easy to tell someone that they are unapproachable because the truth is I don’t feel that anyone is truly unapproachable. It’s just the mere fact that you haven’t discovered the correct way to talk to them.  You have a set image of this person in your head and automatically believe your views are correct. A person that you may feel is unapproachable is a person who has a foolishness meter built inside. Meaning they can detect when your about to say some really foolish stuff and they are not afraid to call you on it. Now that’s the truth. This is a person who has no cut cards. They will speak their mind and from the heart and to be honest you’re really looking for someone to pacify you in your foolishness, but they don’t. Instead they call it like they see it. The folks you feel are unapproachable are the folks who are tired of the norm. They don’t like the he said she said nonsense and would rather you keep that mess to yourself.  These people function fine in their own environment. Here is something that may help you when dealing with this type of person.  If you need to talk to this person about something, come with the facts, short and sweet & don’t beat around the bush.  You may have to write down what you want to say and then read over it before you approach them. Come humble and understanding and not judgmental. This person may or may not be aware they come across like this or they may and that’s their way of keeping you out of their face. Hmmm now that’s something to think about.
