You Can’t Hurry God

Each day I sit at my desk I always notice something that irritates the mess out of me. In your mind you really want to say some things just to speak on how you feel, but today as I sat at my desk reading my school books I began to think. Last night my mom made a statement she said we always want to tell people who did what wrong or in other words check someone, but sometimes you just need to leave them be. She stated in due time whomever the person of authority that is they will eventually find out. As I type these words this phrase came to me “You Can’t Hurry God” came to mind. We always try to rush God to do something and then we make a mess of things. There have been so many of my friends who have rushed into relationships just to say they have a child or husband only to discover they picked the wrong one. My bible says when a man findeth a wife he findeth a good thing. You missed out on your good thing by picking Mr. Right Now. When you’re blessed by God its right and everything falls in place. Sometimes we have to learn to just pump our brakes and wait. You heard me – I said Wait – Wait on God and wait for him to work it out. Stop blocking your blessing because you feel like you deserve it now. When you do that you deserve all of the misery you invited into your life. You can’t blame God for the decisions you made. During the process of waiting God shows you things to work on and he begins to prune you into who he needs you to be for your good thing that’s coming for you.
