Easter Approaches
I’m going to ask you a question and I really want you to take a moment and think about it. Do you really think about your salvation? I mean really think about it. Not on the level of thinking oh God knows my heart and everyone is going to heaven, because even though it may be true that God knows your heart, everyone won’t be going to heaven. Have you ever considered the things you do daily and thought this is not pleasing to God? Each person knows right from wrong, but at times we tend to justify our deeds by saying God knows my heart. What would you say if he told you he knows your heart and it was filled with wicked deeds and you have yet to follow his plan for your life? Would you be willing to change? We tend to look at life and think we have time to get everything right, but in all honesty we don’t. We hope and pray to live a long life, but many of us will have that time cut short. It’s the honest truth. Easter approaches and as a normal traditions people come far and wide to attend church on that very day. It’s not out of love for God, but mostly for tradition. The reason I say it’s not done out of love because if you really loved him you would attend on a regular bases.
Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
