Understanding It All

Today as I sat at my desk I wanted to send a text message to my family, friends and haters to say thank-you. That sound a little cold hearted but that wasn’t how the text went. I’m just summing it up. I wanted to tell each person thank you for everything you had contributed to my life in the last 12 months. We always get excited over the positive things in life but sometimes you should celebrate the negative ones because they are the one’s that tend to motivate you to do better than they ever expected. I’m feeling so much joy in my heart right now. No hate and no love lost of any kind. I’m at peace. Those who have offended me in the past I can truly tell them thank you and sorry if I ever offended you, but to have them welcomed into my house we will just skip that part. The reason I say that is each person bring a spirit with them. Some are good others aren’t so good and since my home is a place of peace you don’t invite spirits into your sanctuary that aren’t a spirit of peace, love or your best interest. My mind even began to think that I really don’t care what those who don’t like me or love me think of me. If I allow their thoughts to define me then I will curl up and wither away and fail to exist. I’m full of love joy, forgiveness and peace. Always remember the same way you can look at a person and tell them everything that is wrong with them they can also look at you and do the same thing. This morning I was studying the word of God and this phrase stuck out from Proverbs 13:3 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
