You Can't Make Them Love You

We tend to go through things as a child which we carry over into our adult life. Absent parents tend to leave a big empty whole in a person’s heart. It can be hard reaching out to a person who doesn’t want to be reached. We continue to keep making the effort in hopes that one day a light will trigger and they will return the same love you have been giving for years. There comes a time in your life where you realized that some people aren’t capable of what you’re looking for. It pains the heart to feel those feeling, but once you realize that and accept it then you can move on with your life. You can’t hold onto someone who doesn’t want to be held. Instead of wasting your time and energy into someone who doesn’t want to return those same feelings find someone who will. Life is too short to keep waiting on the same dream which will never become a reality.
