Thanks But No Thanks
I was sitting at my desk and the words thanks but no thanks came to mind. Today I reflected on something that happened months ago. When you decided to move on with life and remove yourself for certain equations some people don’t know how to hand it. They try their best to get back to the position in which they once held but when you think about the damage in which that person has caused upon your life you just have to say thanks but no thanks. This all stems from a conversation someone had with me over the weekend. I had asked to be left alone by a specific individual but yet they felt the need to contact me to ask me something they could have Googled it online. They claimed they were seeking verification of a incident that had occurred, but technically that’s what the internet is for. You have access to the world wide web at your fingerprints and if you were a local in this area then you know where to go to find the information in which you seek. I could have been rude and believe me this person would deserve it, but that’s not the type of person that I am right now. I answered the request and then I kept on with my life, but after that I do hope they honor my wish and leave me be. Your assistance isn’t needed nor are your lies so please respect my wishes and keep it moving. When God removes a person out of your life who means you harm or just to hinder your walk in life please tell them thanks, but no thanks.
