Social Networks

Last night I was looking at some comments from people feuding on a social network and all I could do was shake my head. Even though I knew the people I didn’t know the situation and it came to my attention that sometimes when you read something and you don’t know the situation or the history behind it you can come to the wrong conclusions. Even though I didn’t like what I was seeing it wasn’t my place to join in. Last week I told this phrase to a friend when a person reads something on a social network site and they have a bad spirit whatever they read will always make them think you are referring to them. A guilty conscience will always think guilty. You see last night I didn’t know the situation and I already knew good and well it wasn’t about me.I didn’t read anything into it nor did I reach out to find out what happened.Social networks are what they are and I will keep saying this until I can’t any more – everything you read isn’t always about you. I think people give themselves way too much credit.People tend to see things and think automatically that person is talking about you. Unless you talk to that person everyday and you know ever detail of what they deal with on a daily bases it’s never good to assume. Sometimes it’s just best to see it, pray about it and then keep it moving.I say this because I watched someone get up in their feelings over this nonsense. Please remember everyone has the right to freedom of speech. If you don’t like what you read then delete the person, but to sit on a social networking site and get vexed because everything you read you think is about you truly means you need to check yourself. You’re giving yourself way too much credit that you don’t deserve.Oh and for those who feel your wrong Kee they were talking about me be the bigger person and pick up the phone and dial all 10 digits. If you can’t do that then I’ll say this – Mind over Matter and in my mind the situation doesn’t matter so stop reading to much into it.
