The Rush!

Since the day we were born we have been given deadline and due dates of when we should start and finish things. These timelines and deadline are so unreal.  Society has placed a biological clock on each of us. You’re pushed to have kids, a career & be married within a specific amount of time, but what we do not realize is that not everyone’s timeline is the same. What may be good for you may not work for me.

If people really took the time to slow down we wouldn’t have so many divorces. As I look at my friends today I realize that many of them have been married 2 or 3 times.  Majority of their children do not have the same mothers or fathers.  Why is that? It’s because they didn’t take the time to get to know the person. Instead they settled for what I considered to be a pop-tart relationship. Another reason would be the fact that during the relationship they saw flaws and other issues, but were blinded by love and kicked those very reasons to the curb.  Learn to pay attention to these little signs. Remember if you have issues before you say I do then those issues will remain until you get to the bottom of things.

Don’t allow the timeline of others to deter you from something you really want. In looking at someone else’s life and wanting the same could ultimately become a stumbling block for a blessing from God.  If you haven’t found the right mate just wait their coming. You just need to be a little more patient.
