You Can't Save Everyone

I am totally all for helping people. If there is a trick or help tip that I can offer than I will, but there is only so much help I can offer. Even when you train new employees, you have to get to a certain point and observe if they are actually taking note of your training or are they set about doing their own thing. If I give you instruction from A thru Z in language that a child should handle it then I don’t see why you can’t grasp the knowledge of what is being taught. By nature I am someone who likes to help, but even I have to draw the line somewhere. Some people don’t want to try they just want the answer. In those moments I have to wonder what you really want. I can’t do everything for you. It makes me think about the famous saying “Save Yourself.” No one likes to be solely to themselves and not be a help at some point, but I do understand getting to the point where you just can’t help anymore.
