Your Future Is Important

                 This morning as I drove to work and  I listed to a friend talk about an incident that happened to his son a few weeks ago.  A very bright kid  who has a positive future ahead of him. As I listen to the incident I began to tell my friend your child has a  bright future.  His son is a junior in college and has potential to really go far in life.  Don't allow your son to lose everything he has work hard to achieve  for someone who doesn't have a dream beyond their front door.   At times we try hard to hold on to those we grew up with. Even when our lives are clearly going in a completely different direction.  We feel a sense of loyalty.  You can’t take everyone with you.  You also can’t give up on what life has to offer to you.  Your future is important. Never allow someone to dictate how far you can go.  Everyone has a choice in life and some people choose to make something out of life and others allow life to just pass them by.  Always teach your kids to strive for a better future and also be mindful of those you hang with.  All it takes is one incident to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and everything in your life suddenly changes for the worst.  If you don't realize your future is important no one else will.
