Logic makes sense

Sometimes no answer is the best answer.  I find myself at times wanting to solve issues and problems, but I’ve discovered that some people don’t want an answer.  Their mind has been made up. They believe their process is the best or that their solution is the only one.    Today I found myself frustrated.   I’m helping someone that is behind in work and I tried to offer some helpful suggestions.  Once I got to my desk it came to me.  Kee you are speaking perfectly good English.  Logically my suggestion works, but logic is something everyone doesn’t understand.  Have you ever tried to talk to someone who has great books sense, but everyday common sense is like talking to your shoes.  For the life of me I couldn’t figure out why this person couldn’t get what I was saying.  I took a moment and sat in my chair and then it hit me.  When someone has it set in their head that their process works best your best suggestion for them is to do nothing.  You can write out a plan, print it off and circle everything in crayon to make it easy, but if it’s not in the person to listen then they aren’t going to. Sometimes you have to allow a person to follow the road they are on in order for them to see this road is never ending and you are still walking in circles.
