In my life I’ve worked with some very powerful people and you would be amazed at the tactics that people will try and use to get ahead. Recently I’ve been looking at a situation and it has come to my understanding that when a person boast and tries hard to undermine those around them that they really have issues within themselves that they are not happy with. You see when a person is shattered inside they will dress the outside appearance up with fine clothes, fragrances and fancy cars, but this is just a mask. A true person who is happy with themselves and their way of life has not need to find pleasure in making others unhappy. Don’t sell your soul for materialistic things in life. Materialistic things fade away and can be taken at any moment. Always remember the way you treat people in your life is how others will treat you in your future. We tend to think that things come back on us quick just because that’s the way we dish them out, but I know a God who has patience and his time is not our time. Life maybe going good now, but sooner or later the things that you have done in your life will catch up to you. It is better to build those around you up as you go up rather than to tear them down so you can shine. Just remember it’s lonely at the top.
