Empty before the throne

      While sitting at my desk the song Withholding Nothing by William McDowell begins to play. Out of nowhere the tears begin to flow. There is something about giving your all at the foot of the cross or at the foot of the throne. At times we believe we have given our all to something, but then we find a little more energy left in the tank and sitting on reserve. When you feel as if you can’t give anymore look for your reserves. There is nothing more therapeutic than kneeling in the presences of God and giving him everything. It doesn’t matter if it is your tears, hurt, love or just what’s left in your reserve tank. If you give him your last, he will double it in return.
