Unforeseen

            Everyone has a comfort zone. It’s the area in which we feel safe. At times you feel as if you are in a box and completely protected.  We desire to broaden our territory or horizon, but sometimes that’s the very thing that scares us. Today I must walk a journey that I would say I really don’t feel comfortable in doing.   I’m being asked to work in a field or area in which I haven’t worked in years. This project is supposed to last for a little more than a week, but in all honesty I’m nervous and sometimes I’m scared.  Others around me who know my work feel this is in the bag, but I on the other hand really don’t see it.  It is times like this when you have to take a leap of faith and just jump straight in the arms of God.  As I write this The Winans song entitled “The Question Is” plays in the background. God has a way of sending you a message to let you know he’s right by your side.  My words of wisdom to you today is this even when things are unforeseen to happen in your life always know God is there when no one else is.  He will see you through if you take that leap and fall into his arms.
