Grandma Knows

            The wisdom from a grandmother is far better than any friend. The reason being is she’s been through it all and she speaks from experience. A friend of mine shared some words of wisdom they gathered from their grandmother and the phrase she said was so true “You’re a better friend to others than they are to you”. These words spoke volumes and couldn’t be truer.  Then, I remembered some wisdom from my grandmother in regards to a situation about my sister.  I’ve desired to become closer, but I’ve always felt as if her life was far more important than bonding with siblings. My grandmother spoke these words into my life “You have done your part now it’s time to just move on”.  The words of wisdom from a grandmother are words that we cherish.  Even though we may not understand their warnings they should never be ignored. The years they have spent on this earth are years they have grown wiser.  They are the watchers of the family and the keepers of sanity and love.   Hold on to the wisdom you receive from a grandmother and pass it down to the generations behind you. Remember to share the knowledge you receive, so that it doesn’t become knowledge that is lost.
